 TO PARTICIPATE, YOU NEED TO:
  • Have at least one entry level job opening suitable for an 18 year-old
  • Participate in evening outreach events for students and parents (with a display)
  • Contact Jan Ennenga  by January 11, 2008

Several changes have been made this year to help make this process easier for both employers and students and to ensure that the students local firms select for interviews have not already been hired! A new tracking system is in place to provide more reliable feedback and to help transition this into a year-round program.  This year the program is expanding and will include 13-15 high schools in Modesto, Ceres, Patterson, Turlock, Oakdale and possibly Denair.

You can learn more about this exciting pilot program that has put close to 130 young people to work during the past three years by calling MCCV Executive Director Jan Ennenga at (209) 968-5632 or sending an e-mail to jan@mccv.org
