MANUFACTURERS
COUNCIL
OF THE CENTRAL VALLEY
Formed in 1991, the Manufacturers Council of the Central Valley possesses a committee structure that promotes an inclusive approach to policy formation. Industry experts from various fields are brought together to make the MCCV an articulate advocate in public policy. Participation in this organization keeps member companies informed on the most current concerns for business—before issues become intrusive or unmanageable.
Meetings are held the third Wednesday of each month from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. The meetings will be held at E&J Gallo Winery in Modesto. Members are encouraged to send representatives to the monthly meetings where issues of concern are discussed and information is shared. Direction is also given when additional action or research is needed. Current committees include Air, Water and General Regulatory. Other subcommittees have been formed to deal with transportation and workforce issues. Recently, the ammonia users group has been re-activated to deal with hazardous materials issues.
